With its low cost and convenience, plastic items have become popular in daily life for several decades, even in remote areas. Handmade things from bamboo and rattan are disappearing; and as a matter of course, weaving skills are on the decline. What a pity!
Located amongst Kadong ethnic groups, Dak Drink Lodge wish to use local handmade products to promote local craft as well as to improve income for locals. Diverse cute handicraft products made of bamboo species (bambusa balcooa, neohoueaua) will be available.
